Soroptimists International 2020 tertiary scholarship

Soroptimists International is a global movement working to transform the lives of women and girls by advocating for equity and equality, creating safe healthy environments, increasing access to education and developing leadership and practical skill for a sustainable future.

To encourage local young women to pursue a tertiary education, the members of Soroptimist International Griffith are very pleased to be offering a $1,500 Tertiary Scholarship, to a young woman who has attended a Griffith Secondary School and who is planning to undertake full time tertiary study in 2020 or 2021.

The successful applicant will be invited to give a short talk at a Soroptimist dinner meeting in 2020. They are also encouraged to correspond with SI Griffith during the year of their scholarship.

The successful applicant will be determined by an SI Griffith committee.
