Murrumbidgee Regional High will now be keeping parents informed about their child’s attendance through an exciting new initiative.
Alongside reporting academic performance, your child’s attendance will now also be covered in both their half yearly and yearly report. The school will also be periodically sending out attendance reports via email, so please make sure the school current has the your current email address.
As you can see from our sample attendance report below, your child’s attendance has been itemised by class. We encourage parents to discuss their child's attendance with their child, with their child's teachers and with their child's Year Adviser.
Attending school every day gives your child access to learning, wellbeing and social connections. Every day of school matters. If your child misses as little as 1 day of school a week, this adds up to 8 weeks of learning in a year. Over the entire school journey, this adds up to 2.5 years of missed schooling.
