MRHS Wins Big at the Riverina Swimming Carnival

Riverina Swimming Carnival

Last Wednesday, 20 of our MRHS swimmers went out to Leeton Regional Aquatic Centre for the second time in a month. This time, they competed against the region’s best at the Riverina Swimming Carnival.

Six individual MRHS competitors and, amazingly, all six of our relay teams qualified for the CHS championships.

“The swimmers were well behaved and showed team spirit once again, cheering and encouraging each other throughout the day,” explains supervising teacher Allison Stewart, “Thank you to the parent helpers on the day and Lyndal Davies for the photos.”

The championships will be held from 3 – 5 May at Sydney Olympic Park. Congratulations to all of our qualifying students!
