Year 9 Timber Finish Footstools

Timber Footstools

Year 9 student Eliza Mitchell managed to put together this fantastic footstool in her Industrial Technology Timber class last term.

The stool, which was constructed using a project plan, was made out of radiata pine using hand and power tools. The upholstery was put together using glue, foam, plywood, staples and material of her choice.

The chef's kiss on the piece was the Murrumbidgee Regional High School logo, which was etched from a vector design using a laser. The piece was then treated with beeswax and ready for use.

I think you’ll agree that the end result is an impressive feat of woodwork. Well done, Eliza!
