SRC Leadership Camp 2022

Leadership Camp

In the final week of Term 2, the SRC headed off to Optimum Experiences in Fitzroy Falls for the school's annual Leadership Camp.

The 17 students had a great time on the three day getaway. During their trip, the SRC completed team building exercises, developed their leadership and communication skills and challenged themselves physically and mentally.

Working together, the SRC had to escape from a makeshift cage in the great escape challenge, build a raft to cross a river and make a pipeline to transport a ball from one side of a hall to another. There were also high wire exercises, rock climbing and leap pads to help students get out of their comfort zones.

“It was a great trip where the SRC from both sites could make connections and build leadership skills,” explains SRC coordinator Erin Griffin, “The retreat ended with a six hour sing-a-long, which I was a fan of. Thommo, not so much.”

Special thanks to Ms Griffin and Mr Thompson for supervising the trip.
