Last week the MRHS Open Girls and Boys Volleyball Teams travelled to Albury to compete at the Steve Birt Memorial Shield Volleyball competition.
Both teams competed against Kooringal, Yanco Agricultural and Wagga Wagga High Schools.
The boys team played hard and well but unfortunately lost each game in the final set.
The girls team won all three games in straight sets and moved onto the semis against James Fallon High School, once again winning in straight sets. In the grand final the girls worked hard and came out victorious, winning in straight sets against Wagga Wagga High School.
The girls team has qualified for State Championship in Sydney at the start of Term 3. Congratulations to both teams and all the players!
