Year 7 and 8 LOTE Enjoy Lunch at Malcolm's

Ms Lu capped off 2022 with a MRHS tradition: she brought all of her students to Malcolm’s Chinese Restaurant for the annual LOTE banquet.

Murrumbidgee Regional High School offers German and Chinese classes as part of the LOTE curriculum. All students are expected to study LOTE in Year 7 and 8 and may elect to further their studies in LOTE beyond that.

The Year 7 and 8s ordered their meals and thanked the staff in Chinese and engaged the owner Malcolm in conversation. It was the best way to learn about another culture: through food!
