The results are in for the Computational and Algorithmic Thinking (CAT) Competition that MRHS students sat in late March. The competition is a one-hour problem solving challenge that mixes multiple choice and written answers.
The competition is run by the Australian Maths Trust, and although the students don’t need to be able to code, it does focus on many of the mathematical skills that can be applied to coding.
Congratulations to all of our participants and a special congratulations to Jonathon Davies who managed to get a distinction and Soham Ghosh, Raja Ijaz, Laura Weppler and Callum Weppler who all received credits.
