Primary Industries Learn To Ride

Motorcycle Training

Our Year 12 Primary Industries class undertook two wheel and side by side vehicle training earlier this month.

Nine Primary Industries students completed the two-day course at Griffith TAFE with trainers Jamie and Andy. Students covered both theory and practical aspects of motorcycles and side by side vehicles, rounding up the session with a run around the track.

While the course was a great way for the year 12s to unwind in the lead up to the HSC, it was also a fantastic opportunity for the group to bolster their resumes. The skills they gained over the two days are essential for a life in primary industries.

“We would like to thank NSW TAFE for providing this free training to our students which was an addition to their Certificate II in Rural Operations,” adds Primary Industries teacher Carl Chirgwin.
