Year 8 Go To Family Funland

Year 8 blew off some steam today on a year excursion to Griffith City Cinema, Family Funland and Star Bowling.

The day started with the students being treated to the Griffith premiere of Minions: The Rise of Gru. Once the year were done with the movie, they were set loose on Star Bowling and Family Funland.

Students pitched themselves against each other in a competitive round of bowling, gorged themselves on pizza and chips, freaked out on the dark ride, battled to the death in the laser tag arena and tested their skills on the various arcade machines.

The day was a great way to celebrate the half way mark for Year 8. It was also a chance for the students to bond and get to know each other outside of the class environment. It’s safe to say they all had a great time.
