Athletics Carnival

The MRHS Athletics Carnival will take place at Jubilee Oval on Monday 10 May. The carnival will run for the entire day.

The students will not be required to pay for the bus to and from the event. Students will, however, still be required to start and end their day at their respective site.

Students are encouraged to wear either their house colours or sports uniform. They will be required to wear enclosed footwear at all times, with sturdy, lace up runners being the recommended option. Thongs and slides will not be permitted.

Students are also asked to bring warm clothing, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), a blanket or towel to sit on and water to drink. Students with anaphylaxis or asthma are also asked to carry their required medication on them at all times.

Year 12 will be running a canteen fundraiser on the day, so a range of food and drinks will be available at a cost. Students are also free to bring their own food if they wish or have special dietary requirements.

The Athletics Carnival is an exciting day with a variety of events for all students. It’s a day of athleticism and competition but most importantly, it’s a day of participation, sportsmanship and fun!
