Year 8 Technology have been exploring creating healthy lunches this term in their food technology component.
The class were given a list of ingredients with which to make their meals with. After some research into bento box ideas, they got creative with their lunches. The class were also required to create a webpage to promote healthy eating as part of the assessment.
“It’s interesting the way that each student added their own little spin,” remarked food tech teacher Kathy Gee, “Some chose to make stir fries, some made wraps and some made sushi. They all did a great job.”
