Year 11 Subject Selections Due

Subject selections for Year 11 2022 are due on Monday 13 September.  You can either print out and submit the attached document to the school office by Monday 13 September or submit your choices online (Griffith Site or Wade Site).

All subjects on lines 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 are taught at both sites. Subjects on lines 3, 7 and 8 have a G or W against them, indicating the site where this subject will be delivered.

Students:

  • must choose 12 units of subjects – each subject (except for Maths Extension and English Extension) is worth 2 units
  • cannot choose more than one subject on the same line
  • can only choose either Industrial Technology (Timber) or Industrial Technology (Metal), but not both
  • can only choose 6 units of science subjects
  • must choose 6 units of Board Developed Courses for the HSC
  • will only be able to count one Category B TAFE course result toward their ATAR

To be eligible for an ATAR, a student must select either:

  • 10 units of Category A subjects
  • 8 units of Category A subjects and 2 units of Category B subjects
