Tiuru-Beni Selected for Australian Schoolboys Rugby Team

Last week, Year 12 MRHS student Mark Tiuru-Beni was selected for the Australian Schoolboys President’s Team.

The Australian Schoolboys team has been playing since 1969. Australian School’s Rugby Union picks the finest players to be pitched against teams both at a national and international level. It will no doubt be the beginning of a new chapter for Mark’s football career.

Tiuru-Beni has been a strong presence on a variety of MRHS sports teams and the Griffith Blacks rugby team. Such a presence, in fact, that he was selected for the Brumbies representative side in 2016, which has meant weekly trips to the ACT during training season.
