Expressions of interest are invited from interested individuals for the position of School Administrative Manager at Murrumbidgee Regional High School. The hours for the position are full time with immediate start up to the 12th November 2021, with the possibility of extension.

The position is located at the Wade Site - 1-39 Poole Street, Griffith NSW.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The School Administrative Manager is responsible for the efficient management of school financial and administrative systems, as well as supervision and training of school administrative officers. The School Administrative Manager manages the provision of support for school activities and routines, including student welfare and wellbeing, and works with the school principal, the school executive and teaching staff as required.

ROLE CRITERIA (Essential Requirements)

  • Current Working with Children Check Clearance.
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake First Aid training.
  • Administration of Medications - training to be provided based on student needs.

POSITION CRITERIA

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage an office.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, organise resources, and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake financial and accounting responsibilities including use of computerised financial/administrative systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the principal, school staff, students and members of the school community.

WHO CAN APPLY

Applications are invited from DET school administrative staff and other suitably qualified candidates. This position is also open to candidates outside of the Department of Education.
