Brendan Codemo Featured on Horror Podcast

Brendan Codemo

Last Friday, MRHS student and all round creative Brendan Codemo had his story published in episode three of the Eerie Street podcast by Matriak Theatre. Read by Brendan himself, the spine tingler is about a man who finds himself on a mysterious carriage ride. It’s another feather in the cap for Codemo, who you may remember as Prince Charming from this years production of Cinderella.

The young author professes his love of magic and mystery, drawing his influences from JK Rowling and Tom Stoppard. He first heard about the competition when his teacher, Miss Ridgway, recommended that he submit a story. “When I write stories, I put my all in it,” explains Brendan, “I make sure that it’s the best it can be.”

The Eerie Street podcast showcases aspiring Australian writers with their tales of the disturbing, perturbing and unsettling. Released weekly, each podcast features two storytellers telling their twisted tales in their own words. You can listen to Brendan’s episode here.
