On Friday 20 August, celebrity scientist Dr Karl Kruszelnicki fielded questions from NSW Department of Education staff and students. From the more than 2000 questions submitted to Dr Karl, our very own aspiring scientist Charlize Dunbar managed to get selected to put her question to the science superstar. The question she asked the famous scientist was “Why can’t we see air?”
The stream was part of last week's Science Week celebration organised by SISP (STEM Industry School Partnerships). The hour-long stream also included questions from Parkview Public School and Griffith Public School, who are linked to Murrumbidgee Regional High School through the Murrumbidgee Academy of STEM Excellence (MASE).
Well done to Charlize for asking a question interesting enough to pique the interest of Dr Karl! You can see Dr Karl’s response below or view the entire broadcast here.
