Term 4 Vaccinations (Griffith Site)

The Year 7 second and final HPV vaccinations and Year 10 Meningococcal vaccinations are due to happen in Term 4.

The dates will be:

• 20 October - Wade Site
• 27 October - Griffith Site

All Year 7 students are eligible for their HPV vaccine and all Year 10 students are eligible for the meningococcal vaccine.

The vaccinations will be performed by Griffith Community Health. Students who have missed out on the day will need to go through a GP to get their vaccinations or wait for next year's round of vaccinations.

Students receiving the HPV or Meningococcal vaccination AND the COVID-19 vaccine must book the COVID-19 vaccination appointment either 7 days before or after their school vaccinations.

All Year 7 students received a form from the school early in the year. If it was signed and taken back to school, nothing else needs to be done.

If your Year 10 student has not handed in their forms please do so as soon as possible. Extra forms are available at the front office if needed. 

If students are not receiving the vaccination, parents should write a note on the form explaining that they will either not be getting the vaccine or that they will be getting the vaccine through their GP.
